Widemouth Bay has its own beach shop, surf schools, restaurants, bars and cafes, while the popular town of Bude three minutes drive away has a range of independent shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
Surrounded by stunning local beaches, dramatic cliff top walks, rolling countryside and activities to suit all ages, it's not surprising Gwelmor's guests return year after year.
Gwelmor forms a great base for exploring the whole of North Cornwall and North Devon. Positioned close to the A30, head south and you'll find the picturesque harbour of Boscastle with its quaint stone-built cottages, shops and cafes, whilst further down in Tintagel, you can immerse yourself in the legend and mystery of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Head north, Hartland Quay presents some awe-inspiring and dramatic coastline, or take a trip to the traffic-free village of Clovelly, one of the most picturesque in England.
There's plenty of attractions to keep the children entertained, including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep and Camel Creek adventure parks, The Eden Project with its huge biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, to name just a few.
Inside Gwelmor you'll find a spacious hallway which leads off to three bedrooms, one en-suite, and family bathroom. The king-size en-suite has a Smart TV, DVD player and the second king-size has a TV and DVD.
Towards the back of the property is the spacious, open-plan contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a great social space for the whole family. Large patio doors open out to the fully enclosed garden which wraps around the property. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
A separate utility room provides a useful additional space with store cupboards containing supplies for your four-legged friend, such as poo bags, food and water bowls, towels for rubbing down sandy paws and extra bedding. There's also a washing machine, extra sink and another WC.
The garage houses a tumble dryer, a bin for recycling and cleaning equipment.
Back in the garden, there's a useful outdoor boot and shoe store, a water-butt for washing down salty wetsuits, a patio area, lawn, garden furniture and BBQ.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
