We have a duty of care to our guests in ensuring Gwelmor is not only clean but any potential bacteria and viruses are removed to the best of our ability.
We have always taken great pride in ensuring Gwelmor is cleaned to a five star standard but, in recent years we have altered our cleaning processes and the products that we use at changeover.
The owner Jayne and her cleaning team have undergone a Holiday Let Covid-19 Cleaning course to cement their knowledge. It covered Risk Assessments (a copy of ours is published below), the science of coronavirus, its longevity on surfaces and the cleaning products we should use and how.
We now use Mirius V1 Professional Antiviral Disinfectant which has been independently tested to European Standard BS EN 14476 and is effective (according to BS EN 14476) against enveloped viruses which includes coronaviruses. This is used on all hard surfaces and high traffic touch points such as light switches, tables, door handles and windows.
We annually apply for the Quality in Tourism's 'Safe, Clean and Legal' certification. We have been accredited with Visit Britain's 'We're Good To Go' industry standard.
