Gwelmor has achieved the Quality in Tourism 'Safe, Clean and Legal' accreditation, with assessors praising the 'excellent procedures in place ensuring the safety of guests during their stay'.
Assessors described Gwelmor as ‘very much warranting a pass’ after conducting a physical assessment of the three bedroom holiday cottage in Widemouth Bay, north Cornwall.
Cleaning to a five star standard has always been a top priority for us, however, our processes have undergone a complete overhaul in light of Covid-19, in order to ensure future guests feel safe when they visit when we're allowed to reopen once more.

The Quality in Tourism assessment of Gwelmor stated: “All required certification has been submitted to the office or viewed at the time of assessment; including a well put together COVID19 Risk Assessment.
“Excellent procedures are in place ensuring the safety of guests during their stay. You instantly feel relaxed when you arrive and although the property was mid clean, you can tell it will be spotless for guests, all the underlying areas like bathroom seals and kitchen equipment were free from any build up, great to note environmentally friendly cleaning products used.
“Information is well thought out and provided to guests before and during their stay, in particular with regards to cleaning and hygiene and I’m sure they appreciate the personal call before each stay.
“A very attractive and stylish accommodation offering with lots of personal touches, yet feeling safe, clean and like it’s your own, very much warranting a pass for Quality in Tourism’s Safe, Clean and LegalTM accreditation.
“Also great to see sustainability is at the heart of the business here, the property is filled with local artwork, local and ethical products and lots of up-cycled furniture – looks great!”
