Would definitely recommend

Great week spent at Gwelmor at the beginning of June, weather could have been kinder but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The bungalow is fab, very well equipped, they have thought of everything. Especially good for our 3 dogs who enjoyed the freedom of the enclosed garden. Location is perfect; proximity to the beach was great for dog walking and boogie boarding for the younger members of our party and Bude, with all its amenities, just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend.

We would definitely return for another stay

Beautiful place to stay, the house has everything you need and is so close to the beach and the lovely local restaurants. The garden is a little sun trap and was a nice quite space to enjoy a BBQ! We stayed with our three Greyhounds and they were so welcomed and well catered for, which is a pretty tough find when you have three large dogs. Jayne was also so helpful when we had to postpone our original trip due to one our dogs having surgery at the last minute and her attentiveness to ensure we had everything we needed before our stay was so appreciated. We would definitely return for another stay and have already recommended it to friends of ours who love Cornwall as much as we do. Thanks again Jayne, Bill , Molly , Indy & Margo! X

We love coming to Bude and staying at Gwelmor is always a pleasure. We instantly feel at home, such a beautiful home in a great location. Very clean & tidy and everything you need to have a enjoyable holiday. All the added touches are greatly appreciated. The beds are super comfortable and we always manage to get great nights sleep. Can’t wait to return and highly recommend to anyone seeking a wonderful holiday .

Fabulous week

We had a lovely week at Gwelmor. The house was beautifully decorated and furnished, super comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for your stay. We loved the dog cupboard - we could have almost forgotten to pack anything at all for the dog and it would have been fine - and the secure garden meant we could relax properly. The location is fantastic - really peaceful and just a very short walk from the beach and coastal path. We loved the welcome gifts, and the dog definitely loved his too! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Highly recommend it

We had a fabulous week at Gwelmor. The situation is very good, being within a couple of minutes walk from the beach at Widemouth on quiet access roads. The house is spacious with everything you need for both people and dogs. The garden is private and secure. The owners are very helpful and contacted us in advance to ensure we had all the information we needed. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend it to others.

5 star dog friendly place

Thank you Molly, Indy and Margo for my lovely welcome to your wonderful holiday home. I loved my treats you left me and then I discovered the dog friendly cupboard. Your 'hoomans' have thought of everything for us doggo's.My favourite place was sitting outside in the lovely large fully enclosed garden. I would sit on the patio and play with the ball. I had a great time visiting all the lovely beaches nearby. On behalf of my 'hoomans' and I, thank you for a great stay at Gwelmor and I will certainly be returning next year.Love Merlin (GSD)

A real home from home

Lovely large property. Plenty of space for six adults and three dogs. Very clean. Lots of extra thought for the dogs - towels, blankets, treats. A very well equipped property, a real home from home and an excellent location for the beach.

Words fail me!

Words fail me! We've been on many dog friendly holidays but your home far surpasses anywhere we've stayed. The beach is perfect and I'm so glad I had faith in my choice and booked for next year. Lola absolutely loved the beach and was impeccably behaved.

Perfect! Wow, where to start, if you've got dogs and you want to take them on holiday in Cornwall this is the place! The bungalow is extremely spacious with plentiful amenities - tumble dryer, washing machine, fully fitted out kitchen, loads of cups, plates and glassess, treats for the dogs, dog towels! the list is endless. The owner even got us a slow cooker in preparation for our visit! Very well presented rooms, the website and photos really don't do it justice. Widemouth Bay is a quiet, unspoilt beach, perfect for dogs. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Another fantastic holiday in Cornwall staying in wonderful accommodation. Gwelmor is perfectly located for quick access to a great beach and also for exploring the wider area. The house is well equipped and spotless. We had six adults and three dogs in our party, there was plenty of room for all! We will be returning for visit number seven in March - can't wait!

Ideal holiday home for a family getaway

Ideal holiday home for a family getaway with an almost 3-year-old. The gifts on arrival, with a special gift for the kid, were an especially nice touch and appreciated. The location was ideal, 5 minutes' walk from the beach, and there are a couple of nice restaurants nearby (we appreciated the recommendations in the "Guests" section of the website). The house itself had everything required for a holiday -- we particularly enjoyed the DVD selection.

We had a wonderful holiday with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 3yrs. The bungalow had every home comfort. The owner even left a little gift for the children with their name on them, thank you.

Such a great place

We loved every minute of our stay. The house is wonderful. The location is perfect. We the kids were welcomed with gifts left by the owner and treats and letters to our dog. Such a great place. We hope to come back again.

Would definitely recommend this property. It is a very well equipped, comfortable property. The owners have thought of everything you might need whilst on holiday. Also very dog friendly which is important to us. In a great position being five minutes walk to the beach and local eateries.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Was a home away from home, drench showers and facilities were excellent, every convenience had been well thought out. We felt very welcome. Loved the immediate and surrounding area. Plenty to see and do, also a great place to unwind and relax.
