About Gwelmor

Gwelmor is an award-winning, dog-friendly holiday cottage in Widemouth Bay on the beautiful North Cornwall coast, offering a luxurious seaside escape for families, couples and their four-legged companions.

Just a four-minute walk from Widemouth Bay beach, Gwelmor is perfectly located for enjoying one of Cornwall’s most spectacular stretches of coastline. With two miles of golden sand, excellent surfing conditions, welcoming beach cafés and direct access to the South West Coast Path, it’s the ideal base for a relaxing Cornish beach holiday near Bude.

Tucked away at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac, Gwelmor is a spacious single-level holiday cottage designed for comfort and sociability. The light and airy open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area creates a welcoming space for spending time together after a day exploring the coast. Sliding doors open out onto a fully enclosed garden, perfect for both children and dogs to enjoy safely.

Gwelmor has built a reputation as one of the best dog-friendly holiday cottages in Cornwall, having been named South West Dog Friendly Business of the Year 2021/2022 and receiving several awards recognising its outstanding welcome for guests travelling with dogs.

Gwelmor is located in Widemouth Bay, near Bude, on the North Coast of Cornwall. Famous for its surf and amazing beaches it is the perfect place for a family seaside holiday.
