We absolutely love Gwelmor

We absolutely love Gwelmor. We have stayed there three times now and will definitely be returning again soon hopefully! It has everything you need for a perfect getaway - a well-equipped home in the most beautiful surroundings. The owners are very welcoming and it is fantastic for dogs. We would highly recommend a holiday here.

First time stay. Lovely place to stay and with dogs. Great amenities inside house and plenty of walks in surrounding areas. Beach is fabulous.

Returned for a third time and as always had a lovely break. Dogs enjoyed the beach, the humans got to relax and recharge. As said before a great home from home! We will be back

'Honestly one of the most dog friendly places we have ever stayed”

We had the most wonderful stay at Gwelmor in March, where we spent a week celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday as a family. The owners were so helpful and friendly from the very start, and you can really tell how much they care about Gwelmor and the experience they create for their guests. The open plan living room, kitchen and dining space is beautifully designed and worked perfectly for a family holiday. It is spacious, cosy and really sociable. The enclosed garden was ideal for both kids and dogs, such a safe and secure space to enjoy. It is honestly one of the most dog friendly places we have ever stayed. Dogs are so happy and comfortable here

An amazing stay for a 2nd time!! Dogs are so happy and comfortable here. All the shops are so dog friendly as well and the boys have eaten plenty of treats.We have spent hours on beaches and eaten some lovely food at The Beach House. Once again, don't be put off by the outside, they are super dog friendly, always bring out water and treats.The small pet shop in Bude is also the boys' favourite, shop new toys and collars every year. Thank you all once again for an amazing stay and see you next year.

The most dog-friendly property we've staying in

A very attractive, stylish, comfortable, clean and well-equipped property. The most dog-friendly property we've stayed in with all sorts of extras for the dogs. Nicely laid out garden was fully enclosed for the safety of the dogs but also very pleasant for we humans to sit out in. The weather was fine enough for lunch outside one day! Ideally situated just 5 minutes' walk to the beach but also a short drive to the A39 to get to other lovely places. Helpful information and suggestions of places to visit on the Gwelmor website.

What can we say - other than Wow! Our first visit to Gwelmor, and it has been just perfect. It really did blow us away!Everything we needed was here, and the extra touches made it so special.Indie loved her doggie treats! Happy memories - We will be back.

Gwelmor is one of the best holiday homes we've stayed in

Gwelmor is one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in. Very clean, spacious, & well equipped. Great to be so close to the beach, 5 mins walk. We really liked the totally enclosed garden so our dog could be outside safely. Widemouth Bay & Bude have fabulous beaches; there are lots of lovely shops & places to eat in Bude, majority of which are dog friendly.

Gwelmor was an absolute treat

Thank you for a wonderful week at your incredibly special home! Gwelmor was an absolute treat. We felt very spoiled and made the most of the beaches, surf lessons, Segway tours and even a fishing trip from Clovelly harbour. What a fabulous holiday! We'll send you some pics of Chase and do hope to visit again soon.

This holiday property was second to none

This holiday property was second to none, it provided every possible requirement, it was just like being in our own home whereby everything was in the right place and the property owners had completely catered for our every need. From kitchen to lounge and bedroom/bathrooms, we didn't want for anything. The property was spotless and very comfortable, they had provided all that was required for Golden Retriever to enjoy her stay. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our 7 day holiday break both at the property and externally at the surrounding area with the beach on our door step and the town of Bude a short car ride away. We went out to a local pub for a meal just up the road, it was great. All in all what a fantastic experience with very thoughtful property owners who couldn’t do enough for us. The McIntosh family would love to stay there again in the not so distant future, what a place, well done Jayne the home owners. Colin, Joyce, Emily and Rosie the Retriever.

We didn't want to leave & will definitely be booking another break here

We spent a wonderful week at Gwelmor with our greyhound. A beautifully furnished, comfortable, spotlessly clean property whose online photos don't do it justice. The owner has thought of everything for hoomans & woofs to have a great stay. We didnt want to leave & will definitely be booking another break here.

Parker and his servants have had a fabulous stay and hope to come again. The location is excellent. The house and its furnishings top class with all the little extras one has at home. The cleanliness level is off the scale! All in all the best we have stayed at. Love it.

The accommodation was excellent

The McIntosh family have had a blast. Such a comfortable stay we have had. Thank you for thinking about our dog Rosie, she has also had a 5* holiday. The accommodation was excellent. Many thanks and a 'big' woof from Rosie.
