It's so hard to find somewhere truly 'dog friendly' but Jayne and Bill really have considered everything

Our first stay at Gwelmor and it has been a wonderfully relaxing break. We're already looking at diaries to see when we can return!! This really is a 'home from home' and our 3 dogs loved the garden (peace of mind being so secure when have escapees!) It's so hard to find somewhere truly 'dog friendly' but Jayne and Bill really have considered everything. Perfect for sandy walks on the beach at the end of the road and as a base for travelling around nearby Cornwall. Boscastle well worth a visit. Looking forward to returning again very soon. Thank you!

Another amazing stay in our favourite holiday home! Fabulous walks on the Coast Path, lazy days on the beach, delicious lunches at Boscastle and The Weir and ice-creams a-plenty. Truly wonderful multi-generational stay with grandma, great aunty, parents and two kids. Thank you

It truly is dog friendly and not just dog tolerated

The house is stunning everything you would want is provided. The few questions we had Jayne replied promptly. It truly is dog friendly and not just dog tolerated. The treats left for all of us, dogs included, were a lovely touch. The house is in a perfect position for day trips out and the beach. Already booked for next year.

The bungalow is stunning and exceedingly well equipped

We had a wonderful stay at Gwelmor A perfect location for the beach in a quiet setting. The garden is so safe for the dogs and it’s great to sit out in the patio area. Everything you could possibly need was there, for humans and dogs alike! The bungalow is stunning and exceedingly well equipped.

We will definitely be back

Marley and his humans had a lovely stay, despite the showers. Although having been to Widemouth for several years we had not stayed here before. We will definitely be back, hopefully later this year. As always we have enjoyed our lunch at Widemouth Manor who are extremely dog friendly. Thank you.

Everything you could ask for and more

Wonderful short break after winning the holiday prize with 'Dog Friendly' magazine. Brought 2 'old' friends with us and, of course, our GSD Savannah. Lovely bungalow, everything you could ask for and more, so comfy & restful and a smashing garden. Sorry we have to go home! Thank you Gwelmor and Dog Friendly Magazine.

Gwelmor always delivers!!

Gwelmor always delivers!! The Beach Bar is a great place to eat. The walks are really good, and of course the beach is fantastic. This is our fourth stay and it is always sad having to go home, but at least we have the next visit to look forward to. Thank you.

The house was perfect and in a perfect position

Our first time at Gwelmor and we will be back. We wanted for nothing! The house was perfect and in a perfect position. A short walk to the beach every morning, and evening sometimes, and the coastal path glorious. The food at The Beach House was great and they happily welcomed two wet, sandy collies into their midst. Next time Crackington Haven! The perfect place for a perfect birthday. Thank you.

We've been coming to Gwelmor once or twice a year for the past six years

We have been coming to Gwelmor once or twice a year for the past six years - you could say that we like it! Jayne and Bill are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble for their guests. The accommodation is always sparkling clean and well equipped. Just the two of us have stayed here with our three fur babies over the years and they have had wonderful holidays running on the sand and chasing in the water. Now we visit with fewer dogs but more children and grandchildren. Gwelmor is a great place to stay for either dogs or humans! Widemouth Bay is a fantastic location in itself but also a great base for exploring the wider location. We never tire of visiting our old favourite spots and are still making new discoveries along this stunning coastline. We’re already booked in again for next year!

Everything was perfect

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property, it always felt like we were returning to a home not a holiday property each day. We loved the Beach House for a drink and meal, laid back and very dog friendly with lovely food. We booked very last minute & everything was perfect, will definitely be returning.

Our 2nd visit and again didn't disappoint. Beautifully clean and probably the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in.Lovely touches for the hounds, who enjoyed (like the humans) their stay immensely. We have had a great holiday with our humans! We've loved the walks on the beach and swimming in the sea. Thank you for the treats and all the things that you left for us to use. We have been really safe in the garden which has been reassuring for our owners.

The house was fantastic

We had a lovely time staying at Gwelmor – the house was fantastic, with everything we could possibly need. The weather could have been better, but we still managed to get out and about and enjoyed our break. Otis loved the bag of treats left for him, and we enjoyed our treats too.
