Snuggle up and enjoy a good book on holiday

If you love nothing better than kicking back with a good novel whilst on holiday, then Gwelmor in north Cornwall is the ideal place for you.

We have a wide range of books on display for our guest to read as part of our Gwelmor Book Recycling Scheme. From authors such as John Grisham, Peter James, Lee Child and Linwood Barclay to Sophie Kinsella, Sebastian Faulks and Bill Bryson, there's something for all tastes.

How does it work? Whilst packing for your holiday with us, just bring along a book you've read or nearly finished and then when you arrive at Gwelmor in Widemouth Bay, you can peruse our 'library' and exchange it for one of those we have on display throughout the cottage.

We also have a number of children's books available, so don't forget to tell the little ones to bring a long a book they no longer want to exchange for one of ours - but maybe double check it's not a school library book first!

Not only does our book recycling scheme save you pennies, it also helps save great novels ending up in the bin. And who knows, you may discover a new author you'd never even heard of.

Our collection of books are on display in the living room and in all three bedrooms.

In addition, we also have a wide range of DVDs to enjoy from thrillers to Disney classics and a chest full of retro board games to enjoy when the weather turns sour.

So the typical British summertime turns a bit grey, our recycling scheme could help save the day.
